David Sporrong

David Wojnarowicz was a big-name New York artist in the 80s. He was an artist in many media: photography, performance, painting, graffiti… And he was a writer. He died of AIDS in 1992, aged 37. His daughter Katari Sporrong said "dad’s a cartoonist -mostly local stuff but he’s also been a semi-regular in Funny Times for the last 20 years (A Lunar Eclipse by David Sporrong".
